Need To Know
- 4 x 15 sec videos
- Audio tracks from jukedeck (except 'review' which doesn't need music 👌)
- All about that great experience
- Must be clean and bright 😎
Face Mapping is a free service offered by Dermalogica where you get a one-on-one consultation with a professional skin therapist who will make a detailed analysis of your skin and give you specific recommendations based on your skin's needs.
If you want to know more then head to the Dermalogica website
You will need to go for a Dermalogica Face mapping at 👇
Make sure you visit the store before 22nd August, then email me a copy of your skin prescription with your post address and we will send you 4 of the products you were recommended 😱 #Winning
Video 1 - Your Experience 😮
Your vid will show off your experience of face mapping, we want to see how interesting, exciting and informative the process is. It should feel clean but super fun - think snapchat style except not portrait..!
But remember, your vids will be 15 secs and you need to avoid featuring faces of passers by 😉 (you can include your skin therapist though 👌)
Video 2 - Face Mapping Plus Your Products 😸
In this vid, you’ll need to show a little bit of footage from your face-mapping, and then a little of you with all the great products you’ve been recommended.
Show off your products and how great it is to have a skincare range designed specifically for you and your skin.
Video 3 - Experience Review ❤️
Here is your chance to tell everyone how great the face mapping was! This should be your genuine thoughts and feelings - no script here ✍️🙅 we just want to see you chatting about your experience as you would with a friend.
If you’re not sure where to start, try talking about:
- Any expectations you had
- What the atmosphere was like
- What found out about your skin
- How your felt about the process
- What it was like to know exactly what your skin needs
I’m sure you’ll be able to talk for far longer than 15 seconds on this so just chat away and then cut out the best bits 😉
Video 4 - The Products 💄
Here’s where you get to show off your products, we want to see 4 x 3 seconds of each product, this could be holding it playfully to camera or a 'how-to' using it, but make sure it’s fun! Don’t be afraid to get a bit creative and show each product in a different way 🤔
For the final 3 seconds of the vid, we want you to do a simple turn of your head.
Make sure you’re in the centre of the frame, then starting to the right, turn your face to the left. This may sound a little strange but we’re going to cut all the clips together to make a super fun edit of all of your beautiful faces together! 😁
We're adding some Vidsy Magic to this one 🎉
We're partnering with Jukedeck for this project - it's super simple and pretty cool 😎
All you have to do is click on the link, create a free account and then pick your genre, mood and length of track and it will create a music just for you! Then just download it and whack it onto your vid 👌 Easy.
Let us know what you think! 😋
Think Fun. Fresh. Real. Clean. Informative. Playful.
The video below is only to guide you through the process 👇 Can't wait to see how you bring your own style to it!
1. Show Some Emotion
We want to see what a great time you’re having at your face mapping and with your products - we want to see all the smiles 😃
2. Mix Up Your Shots
Come in close on the details and vary the shots and perspectives for the best view and feel for the atmosphere.
3. Have Fun With It
A hair flick here or a cheeky wink there will go a long way to make your video engaging and fun to watch.
4. Remember The Whole Picture
Don’t forget that everything is on show here so pay close attention what's in the background, try and frame your vid to look as clean and and on point as possible 💅
